Last Alaska Highway wooden bridge

We stopped at the Kiskatinaw provincial park right by the last remaining wooden bridge of the old Alaska Highway. Such a beautiful place to spend a little bit of time. It is mind-boggling to think that those 11,000 soldiers forged the 1500 mile highway between Dawson Creek and Fairbanks Alaska in 1942 over a period of 8 months 12 days.
