The road from our overnight RV park was good, for the first few miles... then it turned into a construction zone. Intermittent patches of gravel (a few hundred feet long to one very long one, probably several miles long) slowed us a bit, and a couple of bad patches jarred us to the bone. As soon as we reached Alaska, the construction ceased, and we were on pretty good roads.
After a brief stop at customs, the rest of the journey was uneventful. Our RVP in Fairbanks, Rivers Edge, is large, and the spaces are smallish, but everything works well (Internet & Cell) and there is a fair amount of shade. A traveling caravan of RVs from some organization ensured the park was full last night.
The photo of the day is, what else, US Customs at the Yukon/Alaska border.
