We drove all the way to Johnson Crossing, Yukon after stopping at Toad River. It is a long way, but there was no room at the inn in Teslin (my bad for not making advance reservations) and we just couldn't make it to Whitehorse that night. Wonderful little place to stay there, campground and motel, wonderful people, hearty food and great views of the Teslin River. The rooms are small and plain, and there are only about 5, but it was comfortable and cozy on a cool night in the Yukon. More wildlife on the way, too: black bears, mountain goats, and caribou, and the mountains along the Continental Divide, which we crossed between Watson Lake and Teslin.
