Before heading for home, we were able to watch two Old Faithful eruptions. The geyser erupts about every 90 minutes. Throngs of visitors headed for a seat on the two rows of benches in front of Old Faithful. Huge clouds of steam billow skyward all day long. As the anticipated eruption time approached there were sputtering & gurgling sounds. Small columns of boiling water began to emerge. These gave way to increasingly more forceful, massive towers of boiling water & steam that shot skyward. What a phenomenon! Our trip has been an incredible adventure leaving us filled with wonder, awestruck wonder at the majesty & diversity of creation. We are thankful for health, safety, a reliable vehicle, wonderful people we met & friendship. Thank you for sharing the adventure with us.
