Hiked the Window Trail, about 5.6 miles with a great view point looking out of a gap in the
Canyon wall. Very steep drop off and some slippery rocks right at the prime photo spot. This hike also routed you through some neat narrows and has some really impressive steps and stonework along the way.
On the way over to Boquillas crossing (small row boat across the Rio Grande river) we stopped and hiked part of the Lost Mine Trail. We only went up about 1.5 miles for the first viewing level. Running a little late we did manage to cross the border to Mexico for tacos and drinks but we took a pickup after our row boat ride into town (most people ride burros or walk). Finally ended the day watching a spectacular sunset at Boquillas Canyon Overlook.
